Can I do this?

A post on a communal blog that isn't about the fact that it's a communal blog?1

Hug a Hoodie!

There have been days recently when the media have been so bereft of interesting stories that they have had fill pages with articles about people being kicked out of shopping centres for wearing hoods. I can't remember the exact words a particular octogenerian grandmother used to protest against being kicked out of a shop for wearing one, but it was something like "I'm not a thug - don't lug me together with those yobs!".

Evidently she'd rather one rule for us and one for them?

---

1. Interesting fact: I once posted on a communal blog before except I was 15 and a horrible, stupid, grubby teenager with nothing interesting to say for myself. Needless to say, I'm not a teenager any more.

Aaaah, the church of England are trying to capitalise on the idea.

What a shame, the good old CofE have taken on a distinctly anti Tory stance ever since faith in the city but now it seems that they're taking on all of Cameron's pet projects. Stinkers.
